Try frying pork ribs by preparing them using this recipe. The marinade for Texas-style ribs consists of ten ingredients, including onions, mustard, hot peppers, olive oil, and ketchup.

Ingredients

  • Pork ribs (approximately 25 cm)  4 pcs.
  • Lemons  2 pcs.
  • Onion  2 pcs.
  • Olive oil  4 tbsp.
  • Tomato ketchup  4 tbsp.
  • Worcestershire sauce  4 tbsp.
  • Ground mustard  1 tbsp.
  • Chili powder  1 tsp.
  • Honey  1 tbsp.
  • Fresh thyme leaves  2 tbsp.
  • Salt  1 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper  2 tsp.

Step by step recipe

How to cook Texas-style ribs:

  1. Place the ribs in a pot of salted water with sliced lemons. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook the ribs for 40 minutes.
  2. Mix all other ingredients in a blender until smooth. Remove ribs with a slotted spoon and place them in a colander to drain excess liquid. Coat the ribs in the prepared sauce, cool and marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the barbecue and grill the ribs over medium heat for 30 minutes, turning often and basting with the marinade. Transfer the ribs to a plate and let rest in a warm place for 5 minutes.
  4. Slice the cooked ribs and serve with green salad and plenty of napkins. Enjoy!
