Quick baking recipes always come in handy for me. "Zebra" cake is my number one, absolute favorite. I learned to bake it in my childhood and continue to make it with enviable regularity. It's a favorite of our family and all our acquaintances. Simple and... very homely, as it's made with sour cream.
Ingredients
- Eggs — 5 pcs
- Sugar — 240-320 g
- Butter — 200 g (melted)
- Sour cream — 200 ml
- Baking soda — 0.5 tsp (put out baking soda with vinegar)
- Flour — 250-270 g
- Cocoa powder — 2 tbsp

How to make a "Zebra" pie: beat eggs with sugar until frothy.
Add sifted flour, baking soda (extinguished), melted cooled butter, sour cream and mix thoroughly (preferably with a mixer).
Divide the dough into two equal parts. Add 2 tbsp of flour to one part.
Add 2 tbsp of cocoa to the other part.
Mix to avoid lumps.
The dough should have the consistency of thin sour cream.
Grease a wide dish (26-28 cm) with butter. Pour small portions of different dough (1 tbsp each) into the center alternately. Do not mix!
The result should look like the photo.
Bake the "Zebra" pie in an oven preheated to 200 C for 45 minutes. Follow it. If the top of the pie is already baked, but the middle is not, cover the pie with foil, reduce the temperature to 180-190 C and bake the "Zebra" pie until done.
I like "Zebra" pie just like that. You can layer it with whipped sour cream with sugar or custard cream, it will be very delicious!
