  • Baking soda  ¼ cup (60 g)
  • Hot Water  4 cups (946 ml)
  • Coarse Sea Salt  2 tablespoons (30 g)

In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water and sprinkle the yeast over it. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.
