Step 1

Prepare the ingredients according to the list.
It's better to buy bread for sandwiches with a small stock so that you can vary the amount of filling according to your taste if necessary.

Step 1
Step 2

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees for heating.
Cut the baguette into slices about 1 cm thick.
Place the pieces of bread in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a baking dish.

Step 2
Step 3

Place the bread in the preheated oven and dry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. The bread should be slightly browned and acquire a crispy crust on the outside, but remain soft inside. If the oven has a grill, you can use it or place the baking sheet closer to the oven's heating element.

Step 3
Step 4

Wash and dry the dill. Set aside 1 sprig of dill to decorate the sandwiches. Chop the remaining dill.
Combine the cottage cheese, chopped dill, and a pinch of black pepper. Squeeze 2-3 drops of lemon juice into the mixture. Mix well. There is no need to salt the mixture since the salty taste of the salmon will give the sandwiches a salty flavor.

Step 4
Step 5

Spread the resulting mixture evenly on the surface of the toasted bread slices. You can adjust the thickness of the cheese mixture layer to taste. I made a layer of about 0.5-0.7 mm - this makes 8 sandwiches.

Step 5
Step 6

Cut the lightly salted salmon into thin slices and place on the cream cheese sandwiches.

Step 6
Step 7

Slice the pickled cucumber thinly.
Decorate the sandwiches with cucumber slices.

Step 7
Step 8

Add a small sprig of dill to each sandwich as a decoration.

Step 8
Step 9

Place the cream cheese and salmon sandwiches on a serving plate and serve.
