Pork ribs marinated in tomato and baked in the oven.
Ingredients
- Pork ribs — 1 kg
Marinade
- Tomato Juice (or something similar in substance) — 1 cup
- Dried basil — 1.5 tsp
- Coriander — 1.5 tsp
- Onion — 1 pc.
- Cognac or Whiskey — 50 g
- Honey — 1-3 tbsp
- Salt — to taste
- Pepper — to taste
Step by step recipe
How to cook baked pork ribs? In general, the most important thing is the marinade.
- Cut the onion into large pieces, add salt and rub it well with your hands to release the juice. This will remove its bitterness and give more juice for the marinade.
- Mix the onion, tomato juice, basil, coriander, cognac, honey (add to taste, I used approximately one tablespoon of honey, but the recipe calls for three), salt and pepper.
- Pour the marinade over the ribs and place in the refrigerator for an hour.
- After that, place the ribs on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes.
