In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast and salt for the dough. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, pumpkin puree and egg. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release any air bubbles. Roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a 30x45 sm.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon for the filling. Spread the softened butter evenly over the rolled-out dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal slices.
Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover with a kitchen towel, and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
