Pork cutlets in soy sauce
Meat in soy sauce is much tender and softer. Try it!
Ingredients
- Pork (cutlet or neck) — 500 g
- Soy sauce — 70 ml
- Garlic — 3 cloves
- Ground red pepper — 1 tsp
- Sugar — 1 tsp
Step by step recipe
- Rinse the meat, dry it with a paper towel, cut it into portions across the grain, and beat it with a meat mallet. Tip: to prevent splatters while beating, cover the meat with cling wrap or a bag.
- Crush the garlic in a mortar or press it with a garlic press. Mix with 3 tbsp of soy sauce, sugar, and ground pepper.
- Put the meat in a dish and pour marinade over it. Coat it well from all sides and leave it to marinate for an hour or two, preferably overnight.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and lay the meat in it.
- Fry the meat on high heat from both sides until it turns golden brown, then reduce the heat.
- Cover the pan with a lid and stew the meat for a couple more minutes until it's cooked through.
- Serve with the remaining soy sauce poured over to taste.
Enjoy your meal!
