  • Tomato paste  2 tablespoons (30 ml)
  • Chicken or Vegetable Stock  4 cups (1 liter)
  • Fresh basil  ½ cup (120 ml), chopped
  • Heavy Cream  ½ cup (120 ml)
  • Salt  to taste
  • Black pepper  to taste

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion turns translucent and garlic becomes fragrant.
