Cooking Instructions!
Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar from the dry ingredients group.
Cut the cold unsalted butter into small cubes and add it to the dry ingredient mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Make a well in the center of the mixture and pour in the buttermilk from the wet ingredients group. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix; the dough should be shaggy.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a couple of times to bring it together.
Pat the dough out to a 1-inch (2.5cm) thickness. Dip a biscuit cutter in flour and cut out biscuits, placing them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Gather the remaining dough scraps, pat them together, and cut out more biscuits until all the dough has been used.
Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm and enjoy!
