Chicken thighs are fried on the grill until they reach a beautiful golden color, marinated in apricot marinade.

Chicken thighs

  • Chicken thighs β€”Β 650 g (boneless, skinless)
  • Sunflower oil β€”Β 50 g

For the marinated

  • Apricot jam β€”Β 3 tbsp
  • Table vinegar 9% β€”Β 2 tbsp (wine or apple cider vinegar)
  • Olive oil β€”Β 1,5 tbsp
  • Garlic β€”Β 1 clove (crushed)
  • Salt β€”Β 0,5 tsp
  • Black pepper β€”Β 0,25 tsp
  • Red pepper β€”Β 0,25 tsp

Step 1

Turn on the grill to preheat it to medium-high temperature.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together jam, vinegar, olive oil, garlic, and 1/4 tsp salt.

Step 3

Sprinkle remaining salt and red pepper on chicken drumsticks, coat with vegetable oil.

Step 4

Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil, place chicken drumsticks on it, and grill for about 6 minutes on each side. Then, brush the drumsticks with apricot sauce, grill for a couple of minutes, flip to the other side, brush with remaining sauce and grill for another couple of minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
