Cooking Instructions!
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the dissolved yeast mixture, sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and half of the flour. Mix well.
Gradually add the remaining flour, stirring until the dough comes together. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped apples.
Starting from the long side, roll the dough into a log, sealing the edges.
Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
Cover the dish with a damp cloth and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
While the rolls are rising, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
While the rolls are baking, prepare the caramel glaze. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Stir in brown sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
Remove the rolls from the oven and drizzle the caramel glaze over them. Serve warm and enjoy!
